He's Home!

Yesterday my little brother came home from his mission to Argentina. The day was pretty much laid back and spent with family. Happy to report he is doing well and adjusting beautifully (does ANYTHING phase him?).

Anyway, we are so proud of your service and so happy to have you back with us, Mo!

Happy Independence Day

Our family participated in the Centerville 5K Freedom Run on Saturday morning. Even The Boy and The Queen joined in the stroller with their sippys full of milk and snack cups full of Cheerios.
All the runners after the race.
After the 5K, they had the children's races. Here is my youngest brother finishing the 1/2 mile. Way to go, Josh!
The Boy simply couldn't wait to run his race.
In the end, he wouldn't run by himself, so Dad had to go along.
He was so proud of himself and is so excited to "run by himself" next year!
After the race, homemade pancakes at my mom's house. Later that evening, sparklers. Sorry, no pictures. We wound up doing them at about 7:30 anyway because the kids were so tired.
Happy Birthday, America!
