Final Stretch

We've kept pretty busy making our way toward summer.  I'm blaming Junebug for the lack of pictures.  I've taken plenty, they're just all blurry due to her need to climb me during all her waking hours!

The Queen had SO much fun with Ms. Ashley.  We all just LOVE her!

We also had a pair of robins decide to build their nest right outside our back door.  The Queen decided to name them Tiana and Naveen from Disney's The Princess and the Frog.  The Boy called the momma Medusa...Tiana seemed to stick with everyone else.

The day after this last picture was taken, our little nest was empty.  It was really neat to watch them grow (from the time we noticed the nest to the time it was empty was about 4 weeks).  It was a great experience for our whole family!

The Boy had Miss Tueller for 1st Grade and really had a fun year.  He's learned and grown so much!

The very last day of school, I headed North to attend a cousin's wedding and run the Teton Dam half-marathon with my sisters, brother-in-law, and a couple of cousins.

On the way, we decided to stop at the Idaho Potato Museum in Blackfoot.  I mean, how could we pass that up (never mind that we've been passing it up for the last 32 years of my life)?  We can all thank my sister for the deluge of photos here!

Oh, the things to do to kill time!

The race the next day was better.  I even beat my best time!  This was mostly due to the fact that I really needed to use the restroom and the only one I could find at the start was locked!?  So I ran pretty darned fast to the first aid station at mile 3, only to find that there weren't any there either!  I had to settle for mile 5, but hey, a new PR and third place in my division!

 On to summer!  Woohoo!
