Birthdays

Our kids' birthdays are about as evenly spaced as they can get.  We start off with The Boy's birthday in March.  Three months later we celebrate Junebug's in June, followed (three months later) by The Queen's birthday in September.  You'd think with everything so evenly spaced I would have plenty of time to get things posted before the next one came up.  Seeing as I have 5 days left until The Queen's big day it's probably high time I get Junebug's documented.
I figure I only have a few years of picking her birthday cake.  I'm going with lady bugs for my Junebug as long as I can get away with it!

She absolutely LOVES this pizza.  She's seen Mommy make it at home and now she can too!

Puzzles from Boppa and Diyah (we've put these together about 3 billion times at this point)

Grandpa made her a dolly bed and Grandma made the bedding.  The Queen and Junebug like to put their babies to bed right next to each other.

Junebug at 2
Favorite TV show: Super Why and Elmo
Favorite Food: Macaroni and Cheese, Pizza, and "Honey Waddich" (honey sandwich)
Favorite Books: Hey, Pancakes! Hippos Go Berserk, Whopper Cake, and Falling for Rapunzel
Favorite Things To Do: Puzzles, Play with The Boy and The Queen and SCREAM!
She loves to cheer saying, "Hippee" instead of "Yippee."
She sometimes goes into nursery, throws her hands in the air and announces, "I here!"
She likes to let us all know that, "I did it!"

We sure love our little Junebug!  Happy Late Birthday!

Tune in next week for The Queen's Birthday (hopefully)!

Final Stretch

We've kept pretty busy making our way toward summer.  I'm blaming Junebug for the lack of pictures.  I've taken plenty, they're just all blurry due to her need to climb me during all her waking hours!

The Queen had SO much fun with Ms. Ashley.  We all just LOVE her!

We also had a pair of robins decide to build their nest right outside our back door.  The Queen decided to name them Tiana and Naveen from Disney's The Princess and the Frog.  The Boy called the momma Medusa...Tiana seemed to stick with everyone else.

The day after this last picture was taken, our little nest was empty.  It was really neat to watch them grow (from the time we noticed the nest to the time it was empty was about 4 weeks).  It was a great experience for our whole family!

The Boy had Miss Tueller for 1st Grade and really had a fun year.  He's learned and grown so much!

The very last day of school, I headed North to attend a cousin's wedding and run the Teton Dam half-marathon with my sisters, brother-in-law, and a couple of cousins.

On the way, we decided to stop at the Idaho Potato Museum in Blackfoot.  I mean, how could we pass that up (never mind that we've been passing it up for the last 32 years of my life)?  We can all thank my sister for the deluge of photos here!

Oh, the things to do to kill time!

The race the next day was better.  I even beat my best time!  This was mostly due to the fact that I really needed to use the restroom and the only one I could find at the start was locked!?  So I ran pretty darned fast to the first aid station at mile 3, only to find that there weren't any there either!  I had to settle for mile 5, but hey, a new PR and third place in my division!

 On to summer!  Woohoo!

It's Spring!

We made it! Here's what we've been doing with it!
Easter Egg Hunts

 Easter Dresses

During Spring Break we visited Hill Air Force Base Museum.
I was told I needed to get the entire plane in the picture. I promise my kids are in the picture too!
The Boy liked the gun the best, should I be worried?
The Queen liked this plane best because it had an "A" on it.
Yeah, we like M*A*S*H
We also saw the Art of the Brick (Lego) exhibit at the Kimball Arts Center in Park City.

This one was my favorite, so cool!

We had to stop and play, of course!

The Boy even lost his first tooth (at last!)

We're soaking up whatever sun we can come by (even on colder days).  So glad to have made it to Spring!
